“The Bippolo Seed and Other Lost Stories,” by Dr. Seuss, will be published by Random House on September 27, 2011. A collection of seven stories originally published in Redbook between 1950 and 1951.
“The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse,” the first new book from Eric Carle in four years, inspired by the work of expressionist painter Franz Marc, will be published October 4th, 2011, by Philomel.
“Robert McClosky: A Private Life in Words and Pictures,” by Jane McClosky, was published in July by Sea Point Press.

Did you know William Steig spent five days at the Yale School of Fine Arts before dropping out? That he did 117 New Yorker covers? That he created the idea of the contemporary greeting card? Neither did we.
The excellent book, "The Leaf Men and the Brave Good Bugs," by William Joyce, is being made into a movie by Blue Sky Studios and is slated for release the summer of 2013.
